Ofisin kurucusu Merve Şenyuva, İstanbul Bilgi Üniversitesi Hukuk Fakültesinden 2012 yılında mezun olmuş olup, İstanbul Bilgi Üniversitesi Ekonomi Hukuku Yüksek Lisans Programını ise, 2014 yılında tamamlamıştır.
Kariyeri boyunca, Dünya Ticaret Örgütü (WTO) iş birliğinde, Türkiye Bölgesinin yer aldığı programlarda yer almış ve çeşitli hukuk ofislerinde avukatlık yapmıştır. Ofisin kurulması öncesinde, Türkiye’nin saygın bir kamu bankasında Uluslararası Hukuk departmanında edindiği tecrübelerin ardından, 2021 yılının başında Şenyuva Hukuk Bürosunu kurmuştur.
Merve Şenyuva; Ticaret Hukuku, Bankacılık Suçları, Suç Gelirlerinin Aklanması, İzinsiz faaliyet gibi ekonomik suçlar ile Bilişim Hukuku, Ticaret Hukuku ve Blokchain Teknolojilerinden doğan uyuşmazlıklar alanlarında avukatlık hizmeti vermektedir.
Founder of the firm, attorney Merve Şenyuva is a graduate of Istanbul Bilgi University Faculty of Law (Class of 2012), and she has master’s degree in Economic Law from Istanbul Bilgi University (2014).
During the course of her career, she took part in programs in cooperation with the World Trade Organization (WTO) involving the Turkish Region and worked in various law offices. She developed her experience at the International Law Department of a prestigious public bank in Turkey and then established her own practice at Şenyuva Law Firm in early 2021.
Şenyuva’s areas of expertise are Commercial Law, Banking and Financial Crimes, Money Laundering, Unauthorized Activities, disputes arising from Information Technology Law, Commercial Law, and Blockchain Technologies.
A graduate of Ankara University Faculty of Law, Seçil Orhan began her professional career as an attorney at T. Halk Bankası A.Ş., one of the leading public banks in this country. Over the course of her career at Headquarters both in Ankara and Istanbul, she worked in Departments of Litigation and Legal Consultancy, where she’s had more than 20 years of in-depth experience in banking law, individual and commercial banking contracts, syndication loan processes, real estate projects, and consultancy services as well as consumer, civil, and commercial litigation. She was first promoted to Chief Legal Counsel, and later appointed as Head of the Consultancy Department at the bank’s Istanbul Headquarters.
During this period, she took part in—and in some cases led—the legal processes of major projects and loan allocations of national significance involving public banks.
Throughout her banking career, Seçil Orhan also contributed as a trainer in banking and collateral law, engaged in managerial coaching practices, served as a member of the Turkish Banks Association’s Consumer Arbitration and Anti-Mobbing Committees.
Following her career in public banking, between January-July 2025, she joined the founding team of Turkey’s first digital deposit bank, Colendibank A.Ş. In this role, she worked on the establishment and operation of individual and commercial contracts, loan agreements and collateral infrastructures, the integration processes with relevant authorities and institutions, and personal data protection (KVKK) compliance procedures—up to and including the bank’s first customer onboarding stage.
Having completed this significant transition, she has now joined our firm as a partner at Şenyuva Law Office, where she offers services by leveraging all of her expertise and experience.
Seçil Orhan provides legal services in the fields of Commercial Law, Banking Law, Consumer Law, Contract Law, Corporate Law, KVKK (personal data protection) compliance, Mediation, and all legal processes concerning Real Estate Projects.
Attorney Hazal Avcı is a graduate of Başkent University Faculty of Law (Class of 2011), and she holds master’s degree in American Corporate Law from William Mitchell College of Law (2015). She provides legal services in London.
Hazal Avcı specializes in Corporate Law and Mergers & Acquisitions. She provides counsel to Turkish and multinational companies in numerous merger and acquisition projects, and corporate restructuring, and financial projects, both in Turkey and abroad. At Şenyuva Law Firm, she handles company incorporations, mergers and acquisitions in Turkey and England.
Attorney Ahmet Barış Yaprak is a graduate of Maltepe University Faculty of Law (Class of 2021), and he completed his legal internship at Şenyuva Law Firma following his graduation.
Following the internship, A. Barış Yaprak joined the Firm as an attorney and currently works in Contracts, Execution Proceedings, Commerce, Labor, and Data Protection.
Selçuk Çelik worked as an execution proceedings officer for public banks for 27 years, and that has given him an extensive knowledge about executions law. At Şenyuva Law Firm, he works as an execution proceedings officer relying on his efficient, solution-oriented approach to debt recovery and execution proceedings that comes from his banking experience.
Süheyla Kayhan is a graduate of Anadolu University School of Justice (Class of 2013). She works as an administrative assistant responsible for office operations.
